It's really cold today, so I wrapped up well and went outside to try to take a photo. I found a fence, hung it up and the wind kept blowing it down, so here's a grass shot.
Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk DK in Teal.
Pattern was a downloadable one at Spincraft. You plug in your own figures (size and tension) and work the pattern from the neck down. A thoroughly enjoyable pattern.
The one thing which I changed (and I think, a little too much) is that I worked on the diamond lace pattern for a few more inches than instructed. The pattern has you changing to Trinity stitch as soon as you have finished the armholes. I thought I could knit a few more inches in pattern so that the Trinity stitch was at waist height. I had reservations about 'a few more inches' as this is a lace pattern, and we all know it presses out a little bit bigger than on the needles; my couple of inches have morphed into at least 4 inches!
Oh, I also reduced stitches after knitting the shoulder pattern, which was a bit more compact than the lace.
And here's a practically identical picture. Shame the teal is washed out, it was fairly sunny and I didn't adjust my camera for a sunny day!
