Pattern: Dawn
Started: 24th May
Finished: 12th June
Yarn: Rowan handknit dk cotton
Needles: 3.5mm.
I had to go right down in needle size, this pattern is stretchy, and my knitting was far too loose. I knitted the first front, up to the armhole increases, and had to frog, the lace was far too open, and when I measured my tension I was out by 5 sts per 4 inches!
The pattern stitch was awkward - yon, p2tog, keeping my knitting fairly taught.
I've folded over and sewn down the armhole edging - it looks to me as if that's what's been done in the book as well. We took a stack of photos on Sunday morning, without me realising that the arm edging was only partially folded. Retook the photos on Sunday evening, but poor light meant that they're a bit blurred. Oh well!
This is garment #6 of NaKniSweMoDo.
Garment #7? So far it's HeyTeach! from Knitty.

Ooh, fabulous. It really suits you, and I LOVE the colour!

Looks good, Dawn! So nice to see your face in the pictures too.
I like the colour and texture very much. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on Hey Teach! as well as I think that may be next-ish i my list to do.

The colour looks good on you, you'll have to knit a winter cardigan in a similar colour....
