The knitting is done! I have to do underarm grafting, darn in the ends, and, of course, steam block. Because I've left long floats I suspect I will have to tweak the stitches at the end of the floats. I'm not even sure if a steam blocking will suffice; I might have to give it a good washing and stirring!
I have tried it on. It's snug but fits! And after blocking and relaxing it will be fine. I am a bit dubious of the pattern placeent around the bust area - but I knew this before I started, and it didn't deter!
Here's a quick photo of the finished garment, with ends and uneven knitting.
Usually by this stage I am thinking of the next garment, but not so this time, I have been a bit obsessed by mitten knitting! Next weekend I hope to finish this off, and get the stash out to have a rummage, hoping for inspiration for garment #2. I'm not sure if I should be looking t patterns to fit the yarn, or yarn to fit the patterns. I'm thinking of an aran weight yarn, get some winter garments out of the way before looking at dk, sport and (horroers!) 4ply.

well done! Now all you want is some cold weather to wear it.....

I love how the pattern reflects. Very effective.
