A quick post, my fifth hat for Hat-a-thon. This is called Man Hat, but I've made is shorter, so it fits my head.
The pattern is dead easy. The yarn is very old stash, Manos Wool Classica. Easy knitting.
Unblocked of course!
I've had another unproductive knitting weekedn. This time I dived into some old stash, a few vacuum bags of reclaimed Rowan All Seasons Cotton and Handknit Cotton,. That took a while, untangling the hand wound balls. Getting onto ravelry and looking at ALL of the patterns knitters had knitted in these yarns. Then looking at the projects!
Sunday I found another bag of reclaimed yarn, this time Dream in Color Classy. Mainly jade green and various blues (all unlabelled and all looking pretty similar in evening light! A little bit of pinky red...
Off to ravelry and a look at garments. And I've cast on! This time it's yet another pattern by Heidi Kirrmaier (the woman who designed Vitamin D),
A whole evening thinking about which pattern to start. I've gone with Tea with Jam and Honey - though I'm not that keen on wide stripes, so I'll just mix and match, see if I can use up some of the smaller amounts. It might be a bit green and blue. Mr C piped up with 'blue and green should never be seen unless there's something inbetween' I like blue and green together...
