Hopefully ths is the last time tat I use the title 'Stripe Study shawl progress'. I'm (again) on the border. I've been here before. Saturday I thought that I'd never get to the border. As usual, come Friday I am shattered. It's the worst evening in the week for knitting. My sleep debt is ginormous and I frequently nod off (especially if there's wine thrown into the mix). I had to reknit that last short row section. I'm seriously thinking that Friday night knitting should be limited to thorse granny dishcloths!
I'm thoroughly done with this pattern now. Time to move on!
Sunday evening I picked up my latest Quick Sand cardiganm This was cast on a few weeks ago and left languishing. I'm nnow seven rows from separting the sleeves and body. Stylecraft discontinued Malabar aran weight, in Jade.
It's also been a while since i did a monthly knitting list. I'm not going to be so ambitious as to do a whole month's knitting plans, but nothing wrong with a weekly list, is there?
So here goes. Short nd sweet
- finsh the Striped Study shawl
- Get to the 50% mark on Quick Sand - that's two 100g balls knitted up.
- knit a leg and heel on my plain socks, which have been lying around fo weeks
- do a little stash sorting, If the weather is ok at the weekend I may sit outside with a cup of coffee and have a daylight rummage in one of the yarn bins.
Not a long list, but achievalbe. Must finish something this year!
