Lorraine The Knitting Hammy

Wow, what a great haul. And a great day out.

atu

oh man, I am jealous....! So did you know who have a meltdown and buy ALL the sock yarns?

fiona

I made a trip to get knitted last year which was a bit of a jaunt but well worth it! I had a fabulous time, I'm really envious of the stuff you got i'm tempted to make one of those carpet bags myself!

Mary

I think you look positively restrained. I'm regretting putting back the Schaeffer Anne yarn now - it is lovely stuff.

Wow! Great buys! I am tempted myself by this gorgeous Cascade 220 and the felted bag patterns... Looks like you had a fantastic day!

Sue is lovely to deal with from the Antipodes, via the internet. And parcels get here within a week, faster than they can make it from the West coast of Australia. Bizarre isn't it? The colour of that Fruit Salad one looks gorgeous. I feel another parcel taking place in my head..

Anita

Such excellent shopping - must be great to see it all 'in person' instead of online. Sue has some fabulous things, doesn't she? I think she's raising the game (yes, I have been watching too much football already..) for other yarn retailers in the UK - which is very much a good thing!

Tracy

I thought about you all on Saturday, so I was with you in spirit if not in person. looks like Sue will be busy restocking for a while again anyway ;)It was very hot again wasn't it...I was busy on the beach truth be told (along with 2 teenage boys and a small handheld tv so they could watch England!)
