This one didn't even make it to the wips album. It's based on a baby pattern which I liked (Sirdar dk, I think) but I've altered it so that the body is worked in one piece up to the armholes, the sleeves are then knitted, and it's all joined up for raglan decreases.
Started Thursday. Here's the body in one piece.
Worked on on Saturday. Sleeves are knitted. All that I have to do now is joined them all up.
Raglan shaping.
Finished cardigan
And with a hat knitted from the remaining yarn.
All finished on Saturday.
Yarn is Sirdar's Baby Bamboo, 80% bamboo/20% wool dk weight. The cardigan took just over 2 balls of yarn. I initially followed the pattern and made the sleeves 6" long, but they looked ridiculous, so I cut off the ribbing, frogged back an inch and make them 5" long.
This was on my August to-knit list. One down, six to go!
Oh Very cute. You dont' often see a little v-neck on a baby cardigan. I love it.
