This has been my WIP of the week this week, and I'm working on the second half of the eigth square (8 per month is my knitting goal), which I'll finish this afternoon.
The first six squares meant that I completed the third strip, and it's now sewn onto its neighbour, strip #2.
This is a large blanket, 9x9, and the squares are quite large, so Chris had to help a little with the photos. It was a little wet to lay the strips on the ground!
Seaming was so much easier without having to manoeuvre around darned in ends. I may try to spend a few evenings each month sewing in ends on the joined strips though, as this could be a major stumbling block when I'm nearing the end.
Libary's done, lunch is cooked and eaten, supper is in the slow cooker, so I have the rest of the day to finish off square 8. I'm also on the collar part of Neutral Tailoring, though it's short rows and I'm on the nasty bit, where I have to knit until it fits around the corner on the shoulder. Hopefully (though I doubt by the end of April) I will have another garment off the needles, just needed those buttons I didn't shop for last week.
wow! what great progress on picnic! photos of neutral tailoring .. please!

Lovely. I should probably know the answer, but is it knitted in Denim, or does it just look that way?
