It's a real struggle for me to knit the 8 squares each month, especially when I delegate them to one week's knitting only.
I've now knitted 7 of the 9 squares on strip 5, which Chris is graciously holding up for me as it was raining on Monday when these were taken.
And sewn strip 4 onto the earlier strips. It's looking good (apart from all of those unsewn ends)

26 squares to go! I'll be knitting 8 in June, but July and August are a bit iffy, as I'm hoping to be concentrating on socks for the Summer of Socks!

I love this blanket. 26 squares to go is not bad... I bet it will be quite a heavy blanket!

It's lovely... and going to be massive when you've finished!

It *is* looking good - and Chris is looking so serious, bless him!

Good old Chris, holding the blanket in his teeth, in the rain.....
If you will do two blankets at once (and all these socks) it is going to take you a little time....
