I'm on a finishing mode. Getting ready for the Summer of Socks.
Here's a quick project, Baby Sweater on two needles, by Elizabeth Zimmermann.
Published in both Knitter's Almanac and Vogue American Collection.
Started Friday 30th May, finished Tuesday 3rd June.
Yarn: unknown dk weight, this was given to me by a knitting friend, and although it was in a Jaeger package, it feels like a wool/cotton blend.
This is a great cardigan to knit. Starting at the top, there's a garter stitch yoke, you knit top down. The pattern is a very easy, but very pretty Gull lace pattern, just two rows to memorise.
I love this pattern too, have done it in various weights, a dk weight fits a small toddler, an aran one fits a three-year old, just do sleeves and body longer.

That's very pretty. Good Old EZ.

That is a beautiful colour :-)
Do you know there is a Ravelry group for a KAL for this (an adult version), it is called February Lady Cardigan, the group only started today.
Have a look at flintknits on Ravelry, her blog shows her wearing the cardigan. There is something very appealing about it, maybe it is the yarn she used....

I've never had a second look at that pattern but I'll go away and look it up in EZ now. It is very pretty for just two rows to remember. I've noted Jill's advice, too. Very nice knitting!
