I actually did quite well in May, though I'm behind on a few photos.
MAY GOALS
1) Knit my May Mystery Blanket
squares. Done!
2) Knit 8 Picnic Blanket squares, Done!
3) Finish Neutral Tailoring 1.
(Nearly) Done! Buttons all on, ends darned in, collar just needs tacking down, a five minute job - and a photo to take. As this is purple, I need daylight, so I'm praying for some early morning or early evening sunlight. Soon!
4) Finish Gingerbread
baby cardigan. Done!
5) Start something new - a garment, for Spring. Done! It's Knitting Pure & Simple neckdown t-shirt, in Rowan's Damask.

I am not a big fan of Damask - it's thick and thin, and the knitted fabric is full of bumps and lumps. I'm hoping that it will press out.
6) Carry on and try to finish Norwegian Woods
shawl - FAILURE! Frogged. Lovely pattern + lovely yarn does not necessarily equal a nice knit.
7) Plain socks. Done!
8) Patterned Socks? No, change of heart, a lovely baby cardigan instead. This is Sweet Dreams, from Kim Hargreaves, in a pale pink 4ply soft.

and another one (shame I missed daylight)

Not bad, 7 out of 8. I've also started and nearly finished another baby cardigan, a top down EZ one from Knitter's Almanac or Vogue American Designers (something like that).
So, onto JUNE GOALS.
This month will see me knitting lots of socks, so I'm aiming for just a few goals.
1) Mystery Blanket June squares. Five squares to knit, and two lots of strips to join.
2) Picnic Blanket, eight squares. This will mean that I can sew up strips five and six, and that I have only 18 squares left.
3) Finish my Damask top down t-shirt.
4) Finish this Gull Lace baby cardigan which I've started.
That's up to 20th June. Then I start on socks! For the Summer of Socks.
I'm aiming, on average, to knit 10 pairs of socks over 10 weeks. I don't know how long it will take me to knit a pair of socks, depends on whether they're plain or fancy, I suppose.
So let's say
5) knit Pair #1 for Summer of socks
6) knit Pair #2 for summer of socks.
That will mean I can knit two pairs in 10 days - a struggle!

Such a cute cardigan and I love the mystery country blanket. Can't wait to see all the squares together. Good luck for June!

I'm glad you got to Damask before I did. I absolutely fell in love with a top knitted in it last year, but I didn't buy the yarn and now I'm thinking it was no loss.

Blimey! You've been busy. Well done. Picnic is looking fantastic as are all the others. I'm going to have to take some lessons on sewing seams I think.

well done on your goals.... and onwards to the sock ;-)
you should had done 52PP too, think about it... if you knit a lot of socks for SOS08, then 52PP08 will be a doddle!
