A couple of baby hats
These only took a few hours, but OF COURSE I had a lot of reknitting to do. It was only when I entered the project on ravelry that I ralised I'd been working with a dk yarn, and attempting to get a 4ply tension. Ooops.
A baby cardigan
Not a success. It's top down, and with no fronts means that there's lots of stress under the armholes. In cotton Not Good. I don't particularly think it's a great shape either. Now a shorter, shrug like baby cardigan would be great.
And shawls.
I've frogged my plae blue Seasilk shawl, Twice. Given up now, am very fed up with pale blue Seasilk!
So I've picked up my So I Gather. Wool, and not pale! This small shawl is started at one end, you knit until you're nearly out of yarn and cast off, so I should be able to use it all up.
This is bedtime on Tuesday:
On top, the shawl, on bottom, the sock blank.
This is on my to-do list for July. Three evenings left (as of Wednesday monring). Imagine my dismay when I weighed the sock blank - 50g! Halfway there. i could have sworn that I was more like 70T done!
I'm a bit more hopeful this morning. I managed to knit 17g last night (no mean feat when I have just a little knitting time) and we're now left with just this much sock blank.
Tonight, the boring dark plain bit, and tomorrow I'll be back in bright!
