Let's see how long I keep up wiht monthly goals!
I didn't have any goals for January, though I wanted to finish my Dust of Snow shawl and a sleep hat for MrC:
* Barley Light hat - turned out too small for MrC, but will fit someone else. I'm sure
- Sockhead hat - MrC's sleep hat. I worked it a few inches shorter so the slouch is less slouchy
- Dust of Snow shawl - as this turned out to be quite narrow, i's become a scarf and I cast off at about 60" or so
- I've started a 3-Color cowl out of the remaining Advent yarn
A start, even if two things ar hats (in 4ply)
Now for February
- Take photos of the FOs for January and update ravelry
- Finish the 3 Colr cowl. I have 4x10g mini skeins left
- Knit a Baby Sophisticate baby cardigan. Started, its' aran weight and after an evening knitting I'm a few inches from finishing the body
- Finish another baby cardigan
- Knit baby hat #1
- Knit baby hat #2
- Start an adult garment. This 8is a real challenge as I haven't decided on a pattern and it might involve a good amount of time on ravelry :) One idea is to use some aran weight Jaeger merino dark olive, rescued from an oversized moth-eaten jumper, so there should be enough for a smaller jumper. I'm thinking of a simple. plain jumper.
- That's seven thing for February, a shorter month. Hmmmm..
That's a very ambitious list for a short month! I was hoping to achieve more now that I am redundant / retired but I'd forgotten to factor in the loss of 12 hours knitting whilst commuting time!
